Tasks:

As a young talent with an entrepreneurial mindset and the courage to shape the future, the "Start up! Trainee Program" offers you 18 months to learn and develop. After all, we not only want to give you a broad, diverse insight into our company, but also the opportunity to leave your comfort zone and learn about new topics in order to develop your full potential. In addition, the following opportunities await you:

• Take off and be the driver of your own career! You will be given 5 assignments, each lasting 3 months, to discover and develop your personal career path: Your first assignment will be in a technical environment and it is up to you where you want to start your journey in this field. You can choose directly between different assignments.
• Step out of your comfort zone! After your first assignment, you decide which topics you want to deepen or explore anew. Throughout the program, we want you to step out of your comfort zone and explore different areas of Deutsche Telekom. This can be within your main direction within technology as well as outside of technology to broaden your knowledge portfolio. We will continuously support you with a broad network.
• Expand your network and experience the trainee community! On Fridays, the Start up! Community on "Magenta Friday". All trainees come together to work on strategic innovation and growth projects outside of their usual tasks. This further expands your network and skills. Trainees get involved in their various groups where they organize networking events, promote learning and development or contribute to social initiatives.
• Become international! A leading digital telecommunications company without international experience? Impossible! At least one of your assignments will take place abroad. Which city and country you choose is up to you - you can benefit from Deutsche Telekom's global presence.
• Understand our business! Take the opportunity to get to know the operational business of Deutsche Telekom. During your service days, you will gain direct insights into how Deutsche Telekom works with its customers. Choose your service days by, for example, spending a day in the field, visiting our T-Shops or dropping by our Service Centers. You will get a direct insight into how we turn customers into fans every day.
• Never stop learning! Deutsche Telekom offers a wide range of learning opportunities. You benefit from a learning budget that you can use for your personal development and continue to build your skills alongside our many free learning opportunities.

Profile:

You have successfully completed an engineering degree and have good coding skills or specialized knowledge (e.g. IT/cloud/network architecture, cyber security, etc.). Your personality is characterized by innovation, curiosity and the courage to question facts. In addition to your technical knowledge, you also have an entrepreneurial mindset. You also fulfill the following requirements:

• Relevant internships and / or initial work experience with a focus on IT or technology; ideally in the above-mentioned subject areas.
• International experience
• Social commitment and / or entrepreneurial project work
• Fluent English (level C1) and willingness to learn German independently
