Tasks:
As a top graduate with a degree in economics or IT, you will start the 18-month trainee program with a focus on "B2B Sales Consulting - Digital Business" at the leading digital telco. You will deepen your technical know-how and expand your skills as a sales consultant. You will learn to analyze business models in order to link Deutsche Telekom's portfolio and partner solutions with customers' business requirements. The aim of our B2B sales track is to give you, as a career starter, an insight into our international sales organization and a broad overview of the ICT market. The following tasks await you:
- Active participation in deal processes with customers ranging from DAX 40 companies to hidden champions in the German SME sector.
- Accompanying account managers from acquisition and needs assessment to proposal preparation and solution development
- Work with products and solutions from innovative clusters such as software-defined networks, enterprise communication, cloud, 5G and IoT
- Opportunity to carry out project assignments abroad
- Active participation in "Magenta Friday" with the trainee community and support with relevant company projects
- Carrying out short-term customer service assignments (e.g. field service, event support)
- Participation in workshops and training sessions tailored to individual development needs
Profile:
You have successfully completed a business or information technology degree and have a good understanding of business models in various industries or expertise in IT solutions (e.g. IT, cloud, network architecture, cyber security, etc.). You have a strong customer and service orientation by nature:
- Relevant internships or initial work experience with a business or IT focus.
- Ideally, you have already gained initial work experience in sales or IT
- International experience
- Fluent English (level C1) and willingness to learn German independently
