Expanding Ideas: When Deep Tech Meets Marketing

Great technology doesn’t market itself. For deep-tech startups, developing the technology is only one part of the challenge.

Communicating its value, finding the right customers and building a marketing strategy around a highly technical product can be just as difficult.

That’s where Expanding Ideas comes in. Together with Marketing Club Aachen, we are bringing the invitation-only format back to the Collective Incubator. Selected startups from our community present their business models and current marketing challenges to experienced marketing professionals.

Instead of a traditional workshop, each startup gets its own room while the experts rotate between the teams. Founders explain their challenges, experts challenge assumptions, share their experience and develop new ideas together with them.

The idea is simple: bring different expertise together. Technical founders know their technology. Marketing experts know how to position, communicate and bring solutions closer to the market.

After the great feedback from the last edition, we are excited to see what new perspectives emerge this time.
