Working Student - Engineering (m/f/x) Battery Tech Startup

ivilion is a high-tech company headquartered in Aachen, Germany, offering next-generation battery packs for all mobility applications. Our patented battery cooling technology enables ultra-fast charging while reducing manufacturing costs by up to 20%, paving the way for more efficient and sustainable EVs.

WHO YOU ARE

• You are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program such as Mechanical/ Automotive/ Aerospace/ Industrial/ Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• You have a hands-on-mindset and thrive in an environment that values self-driven initiative, contributing your own ideas and taking ownership of tasks.
• You possess strong communication skills in both English and German language and are comfortable stepping beyond your defined role when needed.
• Ideally, you gained experience in one or more of the following fields:

• CAD (ideally Rhinoceros 3D or Solidworks)
• Simulations (FEM/CFD) (commercial and open-source tools)
• Programming, especially in Python (experience with Rasperry Pi or Arduino is a plus)
• Manual work (assembly, milling, bonding, soldering, etc.)

• And, most importantly - you have a deep commitment to advancing sustainable EVs and driving the Future of Mobility!

We are looking for a Working Student (10hrs+) to join the team for a minimum of 6 months.

YOUR TASKS

• Simulation and programming tasks
• Drive the design of battery pack prototypes and auxiliary equipment
• Work closely with our CTO and build prototypes and test benches
• Test prototypes
