Public funding can be an essential source of startup funding, especially for deeptech startups. However, between the regional/state, national and European level, it is often tricky to identify the most suited grants and know when and how to apply. So we have invited two specialists to explain public funding and the most relevant grants at each level in a 90 min session.

After a general overview on public funding, Boris of Dimler&Karcher will explain the most relevant regional and national German grants including NRW programmes, some especially attractive programmes in other Federal States and the most important national programmes in Germany.

Then, Florian of Zaz Ventures will give you an overview of the most important EU programmes including the Horizon Europe consortia calls, Eureka Eurostars and the Innovation Fund. The focus however will be on the EIC Accelerator, which is the EU’s flagship programme to get high-impact deeptech startups to market.

For each programme, the experts will explain…

• who can and should apply (i.e. eligibility, success rates and success criteria);
• when to apply
• what kind of projects are suitable / what kind of costs can be covered.

The funding experts will be sharing real-world case studies and success stories throughout the session, providing participants with actionable advice and best practices to supercharge their chances of securing funding! There will be the opportunity to ask questions after each topic.

After the seminar there will be an opportunity to network including with Boris and Florian.
