What you'll do

In Customer Innovation and Maintenance (CIM) we develop market-shaping products and solutions that serve the entire customer value chain, whether in cloud, on premise or hybrid landscapes.

Since CIM is planning to increase its business significantly, we are looking for a Security Associate Developer (f/m/d) who would like to work on security topics within our cloud projects/products in our Innovation Engineering teams and become the first contact for security related topics. Furthermore, you will be part as an active member of our Security community@SAP and support global initiatives for security.

A successful candidate shall have a clear passion for security, in particular cloud security, and wants to work on this security challenge in the first row of building products. We’re looking for candidates (f/m/d) who want to make a real difference in making our cloud security top class through continuous improvement and help transform the way we do security, using the latest cloud-native and cloud security best practices.

• Your focus is dedicated to security and software development.
• Together with the Engineering team you will complete security relevant tasks in the development lifecycle and step by step you will become responsible of security for end-to-end product development.
• You gain deep understanding of software development by also completing development tasks and helping to build up latest security knowledge within the project team.
• You want to be in a driving role for Security Focus topics for Innovation Engineering and network in this area across SAP.
• You will get certified as Security Expert by completing the SAP Security Expert Curriculum.

What you bring

• Recent graduate of an accredited university with a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant STEM field including: Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or other relevant degrees.
• Broad Knowledge and passion for Cyber Security.
• Must be able to work as a team player yet can work independently.
• Analytical, results-driven and have a solution-oriented approach.
• Possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills including verbal, written presentation and listening in German and English.
• Experience in working in a distributed project setup across geographical locations.
• Experience in handling customers and driving innovation.
